Day 1 Arrive Udaipur & transfer to hotel
Arrival at Udaipur. Meet and Greet at Airport / Railway Station immediately we proceed for our prebooked hotel. After freshenup we proceed for Udaipur city tour. Visiting Fateh Sagar, Maharana Pratap Memorial, take a photo stop at Nehru Garden, Sehelion-KI-Bari – Queen’s resort for their friends, Sukhadia Circle (Drive Pass), Bhartiya Lok kala Museum – a museum of folk and art, it displays a rich collection of folk dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls. After that visit City Palace – The largest palace complex of Rajasthan, Jagdish Temple – built by Maharana Jagat Singh and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu & Gulab Bagh. Overnight stay at Udaipur
Day 2 Udaipur – Nathdwara – ekling ji – Udaipur
Take a morning tour of Nathdwara. This most revered 17th century shrine, is dedicated to Shrinathji or Lord Krishna, and attracts thousands of pilgrims. Foreign tourists are not permitted inside and photography is prohibited. Nathdwara town is also famous as the Apollo of Mewar. In the town of Nathdwara, Shrinathji temple is the centre of attraction, but the town is also famous for its ‘pichhwai’ paintings, handmade terracottas, ivory articles and milk-made sweets.[11] During the times of Holi, Diwali and Janmashtmi, people throng in large numbers. Apart from festivals like Holi and Janmashtmi, Annakutta (Linked to Krishna lifting Govardhana Hill) is a major festival that is celebrated in the temple. Nathdwara is known for Pichwais (Large paintings on cloth depicting legends from the life of Lord Krishna ) and Haweli music (devotional music, akin to dhrupad singing with composition meant for various seasons, festivals and sections of the day .The evening Back to udaipur Airport / Railway.st Tour end.
DAy 3 Udaipur Local Sight Seeing
After breakfast, we will visit City Palace complex and the shores of the Lake Pichola. The City Palace was built as the capital of the Sisodia Rajput family by Maharana Udai Mirza Singh in 1559 after he moved from Chittor. Situated on the east bank of the Pichola Lake, it has many palaces inside its complex. Believed to be the largest of its kind in Rajasthan, the splendid building represents a perfect combination of the Mughal and Rajasthani architectural styles. Later, we will visit the mysterious palaces and beautiful gardens. Continue our drive we will head towards the Saheliyon ki Badi, the Garden of the Maids of Honour for the Royal Ladies of Mewar. The rest of the afternoon is free for leisure or you can enjoy a boat ride on the striking Lake Pichola, sailing past the stunning City Palace, Jag Mandir Island, and the famous Jag Niwas Island. In the evening, we will transfer you to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4 Kumbalgarh to JodhPur
In the morning drive to Kumbalgarh, a 15th-century fort with some interesting temples within and a panoramic view of the surrounding valley. A wild life sanctuary spreads over 500 sq.kms. Enroute visit Nathdwara, it is a popular Hindu pilgrimage site. The important 18th-century shrine of Shri Nathji or Lord Krishna has a black marble statue which is more than 600 years old and was brought from Mathura in 1669 to protect from the fanatic hands of Aurangzeb. Transfer to the hotel on arrival. Evening free for boating and independent activities. Over night stay at the hotel.
Day 5 Kumbalgarh to Jodhpur .
Today after breakfast we checkout from hotel and proceed for Jodhpur by Road. Jodhpur is a city in the Thar Desert of the northwest Indian state of Rajasthan. Its 15th-century Mehrangarh Fort is a former palace that’s now a museum, displaying weapons, paintings and elaborate royal palanquins (sedan chairs). Set on on a rocky outcrop, the fort overlooks the walled city, where many buildings are painted the city’s iconic shade of blue. On Arrival checkin at Hotel. Overnight at Jodhpur
Day 6 Jodhpur Local Sightseeing
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a sightseeing tour of the erstwhile Marwar capital. From the imposing Meherangarh Fort to the delicately wrought jharokhas of the havelis, the citadel has some of the finest examples of Rajput masony.At the foot of the fort lies the Jaswant Thada, a richly carved white marble cenotaph. later Visit Umaid Bhawan Palace, located at Jodhpur in Rajasthan, India, is one of the world’s largest private residences. A part of the palace is managed by Taj Hotels. Named after Maharaja Umaid Singh, grandfather of the present owner Gaj Singh of the palace, this edifice has 347 rooms and serves as the principal residence of the erstwhile Jodhpur royal family. A part of the palace also houses a museum. Umaid Bhawan Palace was called Chittar Palace during its construction due to use of stones drawn from the Chittar hill where it is located. Ground for the foundations of the building was broken on 18 November 1929 by Maharaja Umaid Singh and the construction work was completed in 1943. The Palace was built to provide employment to thousands of people during the time of famine. Take an afternoon jeep safari ( AT OWN COST ) to the picturesque Bishnoi village to experience rustic Rajasthan life. The drive through the countryside abounds with black bucks and chinkaras grazing serenely, and migratory birds dot the skies. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7 Jodhpur – Udaipur Drop
After Morning breakfast check out form the hotel and proceed to Udaipur Airport / Railway.st Drop. TOUR END.
