Itinerary
DAY 1 Cochin Arrival :
Arrival At Cochin Check in at Hotel . After noon proceed for Cochin Sightseeing. Visit the Dutch Palace-built by the Portuguese in 1557 and subsequently renovated by the Dutch after 1663. The murals are perhaps the best in India. Jewish Synagogue – built in 1568 and the oldest Synagogue in the Commonwealth are at Mattancherry. St. Francis Church – built in 1510 and the oldest European church in India, Chinese Fishing Nets- introduced by the court of Kublai Khan can be seen in Fort Cochin. Fort Cochin Beach etc. Evening back to the hotel and overnight
DAY 2 Cochin – Munnar ( 150 K.m / 4 Hours )
After Breakfast Check Out From The Hotel & transfer to Munnar. Munnar is 1800 mts above sea level and also the home of South India’s highest peak (anamudi-2695 mts). On the way to Munnar visit Vaplara, Cheeyappara waterfalls and Tea Plantations. Upon arrival at Munnar transfer to Hotel. Check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit Rajamala (eravikulam National Park – open as per the directions by the forest authorities ), the best place to see Nilgiri Tahr (hermitragus Hilarious)- the mountain goat of South India. You may visit the Tea Museum surrounded by tea Gardens- the only Museum of its kind; which illustrates the timeworn method of Tea production. Evening have a short visit at Munnar town. Overnight stay at Munnar.
DAY 3 Munnar Local Sightseen :
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Munnar. Mattupetty dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Pothenmedu View Point, Blossom Park etc are some of the highlights of the sightseeing. Shopping & overnight stay at Munnar.
DAY 4 Munnar – Thekkady : (92 K.M / 3 Hours )
Transfer to Thekkady, Drive through one of those most picturesque hill highways of Kerala. Thekkedy, also known as periyar is a world famous wildlife sanctuary and one of the 48 Tiger reserves in India . On arrival check in At Hotel. Afternoon proceed for 1½-hour game viewing cruise around the Periyar Lake which is the main way to tour the sanctuary. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc. Overnight stay at Thekkady .
DAY 5 Thekkady – Alleppey (137 K.M / 4 Hours )
After Brakefast check out from Thekkady and Transferred to Alleppey. Check in at hotel and Proceed to Local sight seeing.alappuzha has always enjoyed an important place in the maritime history of Kerala. Today, it is famous for its boat races, backwater holidays, beaches, marine products and coir industry. Alappuzha beach is a popular picnic spot. The pier, which extends into the sea here, is over 137 years old. Entertainment facilities at the Vijaya Beach Park add to the attraction of the beach. There is also an old lighthouse nearby which is greatly fascinating to visitors. over night stay at hotel.
DAY 6 Alleppey – Poovar (174 K.M / 5 Hours )
After Breakfast Check Out From The Hotel & Leave For Poover. Arrival At Poover On The Way Visit Poover Island Beach Resort , Golden Sand Beach . Afternoon Check in At Hotel & Enjoy Activities At Poover Resort . Over Night Stay At Hotel.
DAY 7 Poovar – Kovalam : ( 16 K.m / half Hours )
Alleppey – Kovalam – After breakfast check out from the hotel / houseboat and transfer to Kovalam. Check in at Hotel. Kovalam is an evergreen and pleasant climatic beach resort. After breakfast process to kaniyakumari sight seen. Return Back To Kovalam . Take Your Delicious Dinner And Over Night Stay At Hotel .
DAY 10 Kaniyakumari – Rameshwaram (320 K.M/ 6 Hours ):
After Breakfast process Rameswaram Visit Shree Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple,Dhanuskodi and evening
visit to local market and Return to Hotel for overnight stay in Rameshwaram.
DAY 11 Kovalam – Rameshwaram (370 K.M/ 8 Hours ):
After Breakfast process check out hotel and Leave For Trivendrum Railway Station Or Airport To Catch Your Onward Train Or Flight .’
