Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrival in Guwahati
Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel. After check-in and some relaxation, visit the sacred Kamakhya Temple, one of the most revered Shakti Peethas in India. Later, enjoy an optional sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River or explore the local markets. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 2:
Guwahati – Shillong (Approx. 100 km | 3–3.5 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and drive to Shillong, famously known as the "Scotland of the East." En route, stop at the picturesque Umiam Lake (Barapani) for photography and optional boating. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and later visit Ward's Lake, Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians, Don Bosco Museum (optional), and Police Bazaar. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 3:
Cherrapunji Excursion (Approx. 110 km One Way | 2.5–3 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Cherrapunji (Sohra). Visit the magnificent Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls, Eco Park, Arwah Cave, and enjoy breathtaking views from the surrounding viewpoints. Return to Shillong in the evening. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 4:
Dawki & Mawlynnong Excursion (Approx. 85 km One Way | 2.5–3 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Dawki, famous for the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River. Enjoy an optional boat ride on the transparent river before proceeding to Mawlynnong Village, known as the cleanest village in Asia. Visit the Living Root Bridge, Sky View Point, and explore the charming village. Return to Shillong by evening. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 5:
Shillong Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely day exploring the attractions of Shillong. Visit Shillong Peak for panoramic views, Elephant Falls, Lady Hydari Park, Air Force Museum (optional), and spend the evening shopping for local handicrafts and souvenirs at Police Bazaar. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 6:
Shillong – Guwahati Drop (Approx. 100 km | 3–3.5 hrs)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Guwahati. If time permits, visit Umananda Temple (via ferry), Assam State Museum, or enjoy some last-minute shopping before being dropped at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey.
