Arrival in Jodhpur – Exploring the Blue City
Arrive in Jodhpur, the gateway to Marwar, and check into your hotel. Begin your exploration with the awe-inspiring Mehrangarh Fort, towering over the city and offering panoramic views of the iconic blue houses below. Wander through its courtyards and museum, rich with artifacts and tales of valor. Next, visit the peaceful Jaswant Thada, a marble cenotaph surrounded by gardens. In the afternoon, marvel at the grandeur of Umaid Bhawan Palace, part royal residence and part museum. Drive to Jaisalmer – Desert Camp Experience
After a hearty breakfast, begin your scenic drive to Jaisalmer, passing through rustic villages and arid landscapes that paint a picture of rural Rajasthan. En route, stop at the mysterious Kuldhara Village, an abandoned settlement with eerie legends and crumbling architecture. Upon reaching Sam Sand Dunes, check into your desert camp and unwind with welcome drinks. As the sun begins to set, embark on a camel safari across the golden dunes, soaking in the surreal beauty of the desert. The evening unfolds with a cultural program featuring traditional Rajasthani music and dance, followed by a delicious dinner under the stars. Jaisalmer City Tour – Forts & Havelis
Wake up to the gentle desert breeze and enjoy breakfast at the camp before heading into Jaisalmer city. Check into your hotel and begin your day at the majestic Jaisalmer Fort, one of the few living forts in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through its narrow alleys, bustling with life and history. Visit the exquisite Patwon ki Haveli, Salim Singh ki Haveli, and Nathmal ki Haveli, each showcasing intricate carvings and unique architectural styles.
